Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Foundation Announces Matching Gift Campaign for Giving Tuesday

Greater Napanee, ON – November 18, 2025 — The Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Foundation (LACGH Foundation) is proud to announce its participation in Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity, on Tuesday, December 2nd. This year, every dollar donated in support of the hospital’s Emergency Department will be matched up to $15,000 by a generous anonymous donor.
Funds raised through this campaign will help purchase BiPAP machines and ventilators, essential equipment that supports patients experiencing respiratory distress and other critical emergencies. With the community’s support, the Foundation aims to raise $100,000 to strengthen life-saving care in the Emergency Department.
“Giving Tuesday brings our community together in a meaningful way,” said Amanda Chalk, Coordinator, Communications, Events and Major Gifts at the LACGH Foundation. “Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, your gift will go twice as far in helping us provide the advanced respiratory equipment our patients urgently need.”
