Give Comfort When It’s Needed Most
A visit to the Emergency Department can be overwhelming. In those moments of uncertainty, something as simple as a teddy bear can provide comfort, reassurance, and a sense of security.
The Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation is proud to introduce Teddy Cuddles Help Heal, a program that provides teddy bears to patients who could use a little extra comfort while receiving care in the Emergency Department at Lennox & Addington County General Hospital.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, these teddy bears are there to provide comfort when it’s needed most.
How You Can Help
There are two meaningful ways to support the Teddy Cuddles Help Heal program.
Give a Bear – $25
Sponsor a teddy bear that will be gifted to a patient in the Emergency Department. Your gift helps ensure a comforting companion is available whenever it’s needed most.

Give One, Keep One – $40
With a donation of $40, we’ll gift one teddy bear to a patient in the Emergency Department, and you’ll receive one to take home. It’s a meaningful way to share comfort while keeping a reminder of the difference you’ve made.

Every Bear Makes a Difference
Every teddy bear given to a patient is made possible through the kindness and generosity of donors who believe in keeping healthcare close to home.
In addition to providing comfort during a difficult time, proceeds from the Teddy Cuddles Help Heal program help support priority equipment and patient care needs within the Emergency Department, ensuring patients continue to receive exceptional care close to home.
